Introduction to 2D Design
Introduction to 2D design is structured around Photoshop, creating projects emphasizing the elements and principles of design in 2D forms.

Rendering
A rendering of both an analogous and complimentary color scheme was represented in the form of a room's floor plan. Details from bedding, rugs, and even lighting were included. This project utilized scale and unity.

Billboard Project
Understing the elements and principles of design is the basis for this course. So, this group project was to demonstrate these elements by designing a 2D poster representing the FACS department as a whole, celebrating the grid and balance.

Line and Shape, Pattern and Texture
A collage was made using photographs of letters made in unique and creative ways. The theme for this poster was "around the neighborhood", taking inspiration from nature. These photos were then uploaded onto Photoshop, arranged, and organized in a way that embraces unity, balance, and the grid.

Value Change and Balance
To demonstrate skills with Photoshop, color and balance, origami forms, in this case, it was butterflies, created the sense of the Fibonacci spiral. The color was made and printed with Photoshop, folded, and positioned onto foam board to present the project in the best way possible.
